What is a same-game parlay, and why does it matter for MLB?
An SGP lets you combine multiple legs — a moneyline, a run line, and a player prop, for example — from a single MLB game into one ticket. All legs still have to win, but the appeal is that you can build a story around one contest rather than spreading risk across several games you may not have researched as carefully.
The catch: books are picky about correlated combinations. If two legs are statistically linked — say, a pitcher's strikeout total and the game's total runs staying low — many sportsbooks will cap the payout or reject the slip outright.
